SLIDELL, Louisiana – A 19-year-old woman was killed after a pickup truck crashed into her car on Interstate 12 in Slidell, Louisiana.
Kristen Stoltman, of The Woodlands, was driving eastbound in a Mazda at around 6 p.m. Friday when traffic slowed down near exit 80.
A Dodge pickup, driven by Kevin Greenwood, of Ormond Beach, Florida, failed to slow down for traffic and rear-ended Stoltman’s vehicle.
Stoltman was killed on impact while a passenger in the vehicle, Jesse Stoltman, of Magnolia, sustained serious injuries and was transported to an area hospital.
Greenwood has been charged with homicide, careless operation of a motor vehicle, as well as negligent injuring. He was booked into the St. Tammany Parish Jail.
