A rollover crash near San Diego-Riverside county left a driver seriously injured and sparked a brush fire.

driver was seriously injured Friday morning in a rollover crash that sparked a small brush fire along a rural road near the San Diego-Riverside county line. The solo-vehicle crash was reported around 6:40 a.m. on Carancho Road near De Luz Road, west of Temecula and northeast of De Luz, according to California Fire San Diego Capt. Thomas Shoots.  The vehicle went off the side of the roadway and overturned, sparking a brush fire that grew to about 50 feet before firefighters stopped its spread. The driver was able to get out of the wreckage and a passerby spotted the crash and took the victim a short distance up the road, presumably to get a better cellphone signal to call 911. Weather conditions prevented an air ambulance from flying the driver to a hospital, so the driver was instead taken by ground ambulance to Palomar Medical Center for treatment of serious injuries.

Car, truck, and motorcycle accidents are common in San Diego and can lead to exorbitant medical bills, lost wages due to missed time from work, and other serious present and future expenses.  If an insurance adjuster is causing problems regarding payments to an accident victim to replace their vehicle, or pay for any accident-related expense, it is time to seek legal counsel for help, because they know how insurance laws work and what a victim is entitled to.

California MedPay Insurance.

Medical payment benefits coverage is not mandatory in California, but if an accident victim is injured in a California car accident, whether it is their own fault, or another driver’s fault, MedPay coverage is responsible for paying reasonable and necessary medical bills resulting from an accident.  Insurance adjusters may want to deny, or reduce claims after an accident, so it is important to talk with legal counsel to avoid this at the outset preventing an accident victim from additional worry and stress.

Compensation.

Insurance should cover damages for compensation to replace, or repair property, costs incurred from medical professionals treating injuries, lost wages, and changes in lifestyle due to percentages of residual disability.

Hire an attorney.

Seek legal counsel immediately after a car crash to make certain that your insurance company is timely with payments to cover any losses sustained to property, and does not try to deny, or limit necessary costs related to medical bills, lost wages or continued expenses arising out of a residual disability caused by the accident.  Hire an experienced personal injury attorney, who is familiar with California laws by contacting the Law Offices of Jeffrey E.
