The accident happened on June 8th, around 3:00 p.m. in Grand Bay, according to AL.com. The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency told the online paper that a Pontiac Grand Prix, driven by a 27-year-old woman and carrying three passengers slammed into a Dodge Ram truck.
The crash killed the driver’s 28-year-old brother who was sitting in the front passenger seat. Two other people in the Pontiac were injured and taken to the hospital. The truck driver was also hurt and taken to the hospital.
After hitting the truck, the woman exited the vehicle and fled the scene in the pickup truck parked at a nearby store, WKRG.com reports. Just a few minutes later, she crashed into a tree.
