Highway Patrol Police Car Next to Alcoholic Drink and Keys Under Spot Light.North Billings, MT- A Billings man has been charged with his seventh DUI after causing a hit and run accident in a parking lot.
KXLF.com reports that the accident occurred Saturday, February 27th in a parking lot off of Wyoming Avenue. The TV station reports that a woman called police around 1:30 p.m. to report that her car was struck by a Cadillac and the driver fled the scene of the collision.
Police found the Cadillac a short distance away and arrested the driver for DUI after he performed poorly on field sobriety tests. They also found an open bottle of vodka in the car which he said belonged to his sister, the TV station reports.
KXLF says Pisano has several DUI arrests on his record stemming all the way back to 1998. He was also driving with a suspended driver’s license and no insurance.
Thankfully, the woman in the car that was struck was not injured, and it is lucky police were able to take a potentially dangerous driver off of the road before he caused a catastrophic accident. Sadly, too many drunken drivers aren’t caught, and they soon cause a deadly or injurious crash.

According to the MDOT, there were 91 alcohol-related fatalities in 2010 and 87 alcohol-related fatalities in 2011.
