The first of those deadly collisions took place late Saturday morning on Interstate 90 in Juneau County when a red pickup truck crossed into oncoming traffic. Minutes before the collision police had received calls about a red pickup that was driving recklessly, the Baraboo News Republic reported.
Before the driver wasn’t intercepted, he crossed into the westbound lanes and struck a van head-on. The truck continued to travel up a hill, finally coming to a rest in the eastbound lanes, according to the News Republic.
The driver of the pickup, a 51-year-old man, was pronounced dead on the scene. Two occupants of the van sustained minor injuries and refused medical treatment.
A second head-on collision, also on Interstate 90, occurred later Saturday, around 10:30 p.m., and left one man dead and semi, hauling a load of bees. (This is one of several truck crashes throughout the country over the past several months that have involved bees.)
The News Republic reports that the 63-year-old Minneapolis man driving the Impala was traveling in the westbound lanes when he veered across the median into the eastbound lanes. There he collided with a semi-truck carrying bees which overturned and burst into flames.
The Impala driver was pronounced dead on the scene. The 30-year-old woman driving the semi-truck suffered minor injuries.
The cause of this accident is also undetermined.

Whatever the cause, a head-on collision is generally due to careless and negligent driving and that at-fault party is financially liable for they injuries or deaths their actions lead cause.
