NBC 15 reports that the accident took place on Saturday, August 1st, at the intersection of West County Highway C and North Pleasant Prairie Road. Police say that around 9:00 a.m., a 53-year-old woman ran a stop sign and was T-boned by another vehicle.
The 53-year-old driver and her passenger, a 46-year-old man were pronounced dead on the scene. The woman’s husband was seriously injured but survived the crash.
The driver of the other and her 4-year-old passenger suffered only minor injuries.
Police told NBC 15 that the stop sign at the intersection was obscured by trees, making it difficult to see.
