Witnesses told Click on Detroit that the motorcyclist was “showboating.” They said the motorcyclist popped a wheelie and was traveling down Dix Avenue at a high rate of speed when he struck the driver’s side of the car.
Witnesses said it appears as though the driver never saw the motorcycle because the headlight was pointed up due to the wheelie.
Neither of the victims’ names have been released publically and police have not concluded their investigation.
