Several people were concerned about a hit and run driver who slammed into several parked cars at an East Las Vegas apartment complex

Hit and run driver strikes cars outside of an apartment building

The incident happened on a Friday night at about 7:30 pm at the Stonegate Apartments. This building is near the intersections of Sahara Ave and Nellis Boulevard. Many witnesses in the area said that they suddenly heard screeching tires and banging noises.

When the residents went outside and saw the vehicle damage, they were clearly distraught. Las Vegas Police officers arrived and made a formal report related to the incident. The building manager had told everyone to wait to move the cars, as he also has to create an incident report.

At the time of the news report, the total extent of damage and injuries caused by the driver was unknown. However, seven cars in a row that were parked in the lot for the complex had damage to them. Several residents had already been facing financial difficulties, and they asked for anyone with information about the car accident to come forward. Local police also asked the public to provide tips or information related to the collision.

The procedure of reporting an accident

If you are involved in a hit and run accident, it is important to contact the police right away, as leaving an accident scene is a crime in every U.S. state. It is also necessary to contact your insurance company as soon as realistically possible. They may ask for a copy of a police report to confirm any damage or injuries caused by the collision.

Personal injury lawyers

If you need assistance paying for medical bills and other expenses related to an accident, it may be necessary to discuss your situation with a personal injury lawyer. They can provide more information about their services and explain why a lawsuit would be necessary. It is always best to follow their specific advice rather than make any assumptions about getting payments or taking legal action related to the crash.

Losses and damages

Most accident victims are concerned with the amount of money that is available to help cover losses that can be traced to the person at fault for the accident. This amount generally varies based on the severity of the accident and the injuries and property damage caused by the person or business at fault. A victim can possibly be awarded thousands or millions of dollars after a bad accident if extensive medical treatment is required.
