a1Worcester, MA- A tow truck driver assisting a broken down motorist just outside Worcester was killed on the Massachusetts turnpike when he was stuck by a passing motorist.
According to the Telegram-Gazette, 22 year-old Kevin St. Pierre was in the process of putting a disabled vehicle on his tow truck when he was struck by a box truck, traveling in the right lane. St. Pierre was pronounced dead on the scene.
The accident occurred around 3:00 p.m. on February 11th.
St. Pierre worked for Sturbridge Service Center.
The box truck was impounded by State Police while they conduct their investigation. There is no word on whether the box truck driver will be charged for the accident.
St. Pierre just got engaged and was in the first stages of planning his wedding, which was slated for October of 2016.
